The winning team led by Ms. Dipali D. Awasekar (SIH Mentor) won First prize of Rs. One Lakh in the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2022 awarded by Ministry of Education and AICTE G held at the Talla Padmavathi College of Engineering,Warangal,Telengana ( Nodal Centre) on 24 -25 August 2022. The team developed “Careers4U” An Artificial Intelligence Powered Career Path Finder. Career4U’ recommendation system assists learners in taking informed upskilling courses from DIKSHA, Swayam and also referring students to some of the successful people with their chosen career path.

Ms. Dilip Dilip Awasekar has been conferred with the prestigious ‘AICTE Lilavati Award 2020-21’ under the sub-theme "Women Health" . Shri. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, Hon’ble Minister of Education presented the Lilavati Award 2020 on April 11 at a special felicitation ceremony in the AICTE auditorium, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. The award carries prize money of Rs. 1,00,000/-.. Smriti Irani, Union Minister for Women and Child Development virtually addressed the award ceremony.

The event offers college students a podium to explore their awareness, insights and perspective on contemporary topics. Speak for India is an initiative by Federal Bank in association with The Times of India Group to encourage young, dynamic and enthusiastic minds across the nation to raise their voice on pertinent issues and play the role of change maker in society
